2 granddaughters and I went there for lunch today. Food was really good as was the service!! Fried chicken was available (didn’t have to wait 20 min)! And our bill was just $15.98….for all three of us! *They don’t take credit/debit cards, it’s cash or a check! But it was the atmosphere that we really loved. So many times when we eat somewhere the workers look like they hate their job, like it’s a bother to wait on people. But at the Kountry Kitchen everyone was smiling and chatting with each other as well as customers! They were busy and everyone was working but it was a no stress zone!

2023: great fried chicken and roast Turkey Manhattan!! Probably the MOST DELICIOUS coconut merengue pie EVER! Cherry pie wonderful also. It felt like my moms kitchen when they also served red jello with fruit- lol, haven’t had that in years and it was cold and very tasty. Love this place- always excellent food , friendly fast service, good prices and “hometown nice”- even if we are from out of town . addendum: also FABULOUS BREAKFASTS!- omelets, biscuits and gravy, ham, hash browns - all DELICIOUS AND NOT greasy- all just perfect. The staff and cooks WORK SO HARD, always smile, are efficient and just make ME smile.

We ate breakfast their with dome friends. It was busy but the waitresses were attentive and very nice. I has the large order of biscuits and gravy. Wow! Were they big and I ate all of it. Our friend ordered a homemade cinnamon roll which was excellent. It is a gathering place in Teutopolis.

This was my first time stopping in here and I was absolutely amazed by the quality of food and service. Our server Ella was absolutely AMAZING!!! I ordered a sweet roll, large biscuits and gravy and hash browns with cheese, onion & gravy, it was delicious. I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the neighborhood.

Wow Home cooked meal for $8.50 & it was the most expensive thing on the menu. I’ll be coming back. Sweet granny’s playing cards while the staff cleans & serves. Just as fast as you could imagine it. Jenny was our server. Real sweet girl. Just made us feel right at home. Oh gosh! I almost forgot about the pie. Banana cream. Y’all should try it!
